Larabi has worked for more than 25 years as an expert in the energy sector with governments and large companies on several continents. In 2018 he needed to turn a page in his professional life. Creating Plinius bikes was a source of redemption for him.
Technically, he imposed on the City One design team, a high quality bike, components made almost exclusively in Europe and a highly accurate pollution analyser. Socially, a percentage of the sale of each bike is donated to an NGO (Amade) for the aid of children and the replanting of a forest in Madagascar, to which each Plinius Bikes rider contributes through the use of his or her bike.

The NGO AMADE was created on the initiative of Princess Grace of Monaco in 1963. AMADE is an organisation that works mainly in Africa. It has contributed to helping children through the construction of dispensaries, schools and today to the electrification of villages.
